Aftercare is crucial with waxing, brows and lashes! Here’s a space dedicated to showing you guys how to care for what we just accomplished post service.
Aftercare
Brow Lamination
brows must stay dry for 24 hours. It’s best to come with a clean face since you will be leaving your brow lamination appointment with a brow treatment that I recommend leaving on for a full 24 hours!
Do not touch your brows while step 3 is setting (glazed donut concoction.)
No gym or extra activity (sweat) for the first 24 hours.
Apply your Barefaced Brow Oil mix before bed to hydrate & keep brow hair soft and supple.
Avoid using retinol or exfoliating brows for the first 3 days.
Lash extensions
cleanse your lashes every day! twice a day (morning and night) if you can!
brush lashes daily. AVOID brushing lashes while they are wet.
NO eyeliner, NO mascara
Please do not curl your lash extensions
Avoid pulling and tugging lashes at all costs. This will not only ruin your extensions, but also your natural lashes.
Avoid oils, steam and flames (or high heat - ovens, BBQ’s, etc)
Avoid sleeping on your face.
lash lifts
Avoid wetting or steam on lashes for 24 hours.
apply lash oil at night to help nourish & hydrate.
No makeup or mascara for the first 24 hours - after the 24, mascara can be applied like normal.
like extensions, please avoid sleeping on your face.
Avoid using a lash curler
it must be 8 weeks between appointments for your next lift.
brow wax & tint
avoid makeup or exfoliating around the brow area for the first 24 hours.
avoid touching the area with unwashed hands.
keep brows dry for 24 hours.
avoid swimming, saunas or sweating for 24 hours.
Avoid the sun for the first 48 hours - PS: WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN :)
moisturize brow area with Fur Oil (available online)
avoid skincare with vitamin a, as this will strip your tint color.
